Droneamix, the world’s first unmanned cargo airline, plans to produce around 300 aircraft annually at its new factory to be established in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, with investments exceeding $100 million. In November 2023, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the UAE’s Strategic Sectors Development Fund to manufacture Black Swan unmanned cargo drones by 2025. The company aims to meet the growing demand in the UAE, GCC countries, and potentially beyond. Regarding expansion, they plan to expand their operations in Greece and the UAE, focusing on the design of large unmanned cargo drones capable of flying long distances and carrying heavy loads while achieving high fuel efficiency. They received a €10 million investment from the European Union to start operations in Greece. They view Greece as an ideal gateway for commencing operations due to promising maritime import opportunities and challenges in delivering goods to inhabited islands.
