Dubai has announced a significant expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This project aims to enhance the airport’s infrastructure and align with Dubai’s D33 economic strategy, setting the stage for it to become the world’s largest airport. The expansion includes a new AED 128 billion passenger terminal and will increase capacity to 260 million travelers annually, incorporating advanced aviation technologies and emphasizing sustainability.
