Former U.S. President Donald Trump held an event for his non-fungible token (NFT) collection enthusiasts on Wednesday and announced his decision to accept cryptocurrency for campaign contributions. During the gathering, Trump expressed his concern that President Joe Biden is not well-informed about cryptocurrencies.

At the NFT collection gala, Trump encouraged the audience of cryptocurrency supporters to back his candidacy, highlighting the importance of their support. He reassured attendees that he would facilitate the acceptance of cryptocurrency for campaign donations, responding to concerns about crypto companies moving offshore due to strict regulations by stating, “We’ll stop it. We don’t want that… we’re going to embrace it.”

Moreover, Trump took the opportunity to criticize President Biden’s awareness of cryptocurrencies, mocking him by imitating him as unaware and disconnected. He emphasized, “Democrats don’t like it, and Biden doesn’t even know what it is,” urging crypto supporters to vote for him.
